Introduction
The Roundhouse
Day Nursery is a small, friendly nursery situated just off Broad Street
in Birmingham City Centre. The nursery was set up in June 1999 and has been
going from strength to strength since that time.
The nursery's principle aim is to provide a safe, happy and stimulating
environment for young children, keeping all of their development needs in
mind.
The children in our care are provided with a wide range of carefully planned
play / learning activities which in turn cater for each individual child's
needs.
The nursery operates a strict equal opportunities policy.
A Registered Nursery
The Roundhouse Day Nursery provides 21 places for children between the ages of 0-5 years, made up of 9 baby places, 8 toddler places and 4 pre-school places. We are fully registered with the Birmingham Social Services and have received excellent reports to date. We are also registered with Ofsted (The Office for Standards in Education) and have been reported to be a nursery that shows "no significant weaknesses" with a recommended 2-4 years follow up inspection date.
Staff
We employ a manageress and a team of fully qualified staff who have been chosen for their sensitive and caring nature as well as for their qualifications. Each child has a key worker who is responsible for a small nominated group of children.
Activities
Our pre-school activities are based around the Early Learning Goals for children which include
Maths, Communication, Language and Literacy, Personal, Social and Emotional
Development, Knowledge and Understanding of the World, Creative Development
and Physical Development.
Our fully qualified and experienced staff monitor the progress and development
of your child.

8.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m. Monday - Friday
Open 52 weeks of the year (except Bank and Public Holidays)
