The interaction observed between staff and children was positive. Working practices were good. Staff members were observed, talking to children, comforting them and attending to their varying needs. Language skills were promoted as staff spoke positively to children. Independence was encouraged with staff being available to support children as they participated in the various activities.
Staff were familiar with the daily routine which helped to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Children were grouped appropiately. One to one interaction was observed as well as small and large groupings. Supervision was good.

There was a warm and welcoming atmosphere as we observed children enjoying the play activites on offer throughout the day. These were appropriate for the various ages and stages of development.
Staff present on the day of inspection worked well as a team to ensure that the childrens needs were catered for. Supervision was good and appropriate individual attention given. The children were placed in appropriate groupings.
Staffing ratios were within the recommended guideline.
